AIDS Healthcare Foundation – AHF
Based in Los Angeles, AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is the nation’s largest provider of HIV/AIDS medical care. It offers cutting-edge medicine and advocacy, regardless of ability to pay to more than 27,000 people in the United States, Africa, Central America and Asia.
Domestically, AHF operates 14 health care centers, 7 pharmacies, a 25-bed nursing facility in California, a disease management program in Florida serving the state’s HIV/AIDS Medicaid population (Positive Healthcare Florida) and the first capitated Medicaid managed care program for people with AIDS (Positive Healthcare California). AHF supports research and operated the successful and award-winning network of 22 Out of the Closet Thrift Stores throughout California.
Internationally, AHF Global brings lifesaving anti-retroviral therapy to developing and resource-poor countries including: South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, India, Honduras, Swaziland, China and Ukraine.
