FOR THE ARTIST:
One of the greatest endeavors of all artists worldwide is to be recognized, remembered and respected for their own individual talents; all artists whether competition winners or not have something unique and exciting to offer. By entering this competition, your work will be reviewed and voted on by a jury group of established masters in the field of erotic art; ranging from top curators of the world’s most prestigious erotic art museums, to master artists. As a winner in this competition you will receive the ultimate erotic artist accolade as an internationally recognized artist, published in a high profile book that will stand the test of time and is endorsed by the top erotic museums in the world. Indeed, all the top erotic art museums are aware of entrants work through the jury process. Juried by academics and already established professionals in erotic arts, the book is an interesting point of reference for all museums, galleries, collectors, and enthusiasts who see this published collection as the epitome of erotic artworks by living artists today. It is highly likely that your work will be sought after by them for future exhibitions, permanent collections, and private collections around the world.
Our jury panel will choose 200 winning entries to be published in “The World’s Greatest Erotic Art of Today - Vol. II” book to be distributed internationally, and you can be in it!!! Whether you submit one, two or (the maximum) five images for our jury to decide upon, you have the chance to have all submissions included as each artwork is judged on its own individual merit. We would also add that every one of the 200 winners will be given a page each to showcase their winning artworks. This gives a real sense of equality to the whole proceedings. As a coveted winner you will receive by mail a complimentary copy of the final printed book (shipping paid by artits). Plus, further copies will be available at the wholesale price for winners, through our national distributors. The launch of the book will be highlighted by an exhibition of winners to be held in Miami during the 2-day 'Annual Erotic Art Festival' (ARTundressed) on May 3rd & 4th 2008, including an opening night gala to raise much needed funds to support our charity. "The World's Greatest Erotic Art of Today - Vol. II" book will be distributed worldwide through leading booksellers, the internet, museum shops and retail outlets. We feel such an exquisite publication can only benefit the career of every talented artist included within it and at the same time is helping individuals suffering through HIV and AIDS to have hope of a better quality of life.
In addition, a $5,000 Cash Grand Prize will be awarded to the most outstanding artist of all; our Master's Award, and four cash prizes of $1,000 each; one in each category will be awarded to the top submission in each group. Plus, a “Viewer’s Choice” winner to be chosen by our non-competing members will receive a $1,000 cash prize. Also, the winning artworks in the book will be featured in a six-month exhibition that will follow the Awards Ceremony and will include five different cities in the United States & Europe. We will continue to run this competition annually, expanding the volumes and giving more and more deserving artists the prestige they deserve. So, if you do not win this year…then there is always next year! We indeed hope you will be one of the 200 winners to be successful for this unparalleled annual publication this year.
FOR THE EROTIC ART ENTHUSIAST:
One of the primary goals of Erotic Signature is to promote the work of the many talented artists who have already made an impression in the subject of erotic art, but as equally to offer those who are unknown or just starting out an opportunity to prove their gift and ability to the world. Our intent is to serve as a vehicle to help communicate the seriousness of this art genre and change the perspective of those who do not consider this art form as “Real Art”.
During the entire competition, Erotic Signature will exhibit in our on-line gallery all the artworks entered in the competition to other opt-in members comprised of erotic art enthusiasts, private collectors, gallery and shop owners, auctioneers, etc... At the later stage of the competition, all the site members, excluding the competing artists themselves, will have the opportunity to review the top 200 winning artworks already selected by the jury board for their inclusion in the book and choose the “Viewer’s Choice” winner to receive a $1,000 cash prize. These members will also be able to send comments and requests to the artists about their artwork all throughout the competition.
